“Floral Designs for the Home” is the featured program at the Trevose Horticultural Society’s monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 21, at 7 p.m. at the Bensalem Senior Center, 1850 Byberry Road, Bensalem.
Guest designer Jimmy Gilpatrick, owner and head designer of Bird of Paradise Flowers in Bristol, will demonstrate simplistic and “hi style” designs for the home. Gilpatrick will explain both the basic and professional approaches to creating your own beautiful floral arrangements.
Gilpatrick earned his bachelor of science degree in ornamental horticulture from DelVal University. Prior to opening his own studio in Bristol, he honed his skills as head designer and manager of area floral shops.
